Pigitini

I had hubby make me this last weekend and it was so YUMMY. It is called a Pink Pigitini (how cute does that sound?). Here is the recipe I got it from:

We did substitute juice of a grapefruit with just 2 to 3 splashes of plain grapefruit juice. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did :)

My favorite VB patterns

I can't seem to make up my mind with which are my favorite patterns from Vera Bradly but so far these have been a front runner...well so Watercolor JUST came out but I really fell in love with it right away. I am someone who dresses in monotone colors so these little bags help make my outfit POP :)


I just love the light pastel colors from the Watercolor pattern.



Folloric has such fun bright colors.



Most of my new luggage is in Make Me Blush pattern. I love the shades of pink and green that they use.

Day 30: A photo you find beautiful.

I've decided to do days 27-30 in one day because my grandpa passed away yesterday evening. I'll be flying home tomorrow with my daughter to attend his funeral on Monday.

Day 29: A photo of your favorite person from history.

One of many favorites from history. I know it may seem like a cliché to choose her but I didn't choose her for her public persona as a "dumb blonde" or the whole Diamonds are a girls bestfriend saying. I've been a fan for many many years and its her sad personal life that I liked reading up on.

Day 28: A photo of something/somebody that made your day.

My little Mady. She can frustrate the heck out of me but only takes a second for me to forget all about it with her smiles. This picture is one of her "fake smiles". She fakes it when she doesn't want to take a picture. She was relaxing watching Dora when I kept trying to get her attention.

Day 27: A photo of something you are looking forward to.

I am looking forward to summer in TX! I can't wait to visit with all my family and friends :)
