Happy Father's Day

Wanting to wish my dad and husband a Happy Father's Day. They are two of the greatest men in not just my life but my children as well. I love you both!

Happy Birthday Matthew

I wish I could post pictures but my scanner isn't working and I already packed my camera. Today was Matthew's 8th birthday. I can't believe that 8 years has already passed. I love him so much. I'll post pics soon.

Wordless Wednesday

Our garden

We planted a few herbs and vegetables and I am so happy that they are beginning to ripen. We planted an orange bell pepper, roma tomato, six jalapenos, 4 snap pea (Matt actually planted these for scouts),basil, mint, zucchini and sunflowers. I am also grateful that the horrible snow storm we had this past Feb. didn't kill off my rose bush or three hydrangeas plants. All are blooming beautifully :)

Healthy Choice

I am really picky about frozen food but since its usually just me for one meal (if not more) throughout the day I will pop one in from time to time. I tried this one today and I actually really liked it. I will next time use the oven over the microwave because the rice was a tad mushy (but I am picky).
