Our new house

Well, we have finally settled into our new home. We really love it...there is so much more space than our old house. We are not 100% done w/ the home but about 95% done. Hope you enjoy some of the pics. This is the 2nd floor of our house.
This is the first wall you see as you come up our stairs.
Picture #2 is the wall to your right and that door you see is Matthew's bathroom.
Pictures 3 & 4 are Matthew's bathroom. It's been great not having to share a bathroom w/ him and he actually has a good size bathtub. I wish you could see all the coordinating accessories that go w/ his under the sea theme. We plan on buying wall art but really haven't seen anything that matches w/ his shower curtain.
Picture 5 is our room and the baby's door is closed.
Pic 6 & 7 are as you enter our bedroom we have our bathroom to the right w/ a walk in closet. I love having 2 sinks and sink room. 8 & 9 are our room. Yes we have black curtains but that's only because the sun rises and lights up our whole room by 6/7 in the morning and one of us usually has a sun beam in our eye. Now are room is very dark and its wonderful.
Pics 10 &11 is Maddie's room. 12 & 13 is Matthew's room. 14 is our office/guest room. We plan on buying a pull out couch but just haven't yet. 15 is looking down from the top of our stairs and the last one is going down stairs. As soon as I can I will post pics of our downstairs and the outside of our home.

Happy Halloween

Another Halloween in a new home. Matthew decided to be a blue power ranger this year. The first picture is right before he and Ken left to go trick or treating. Picture #2 is our cat,Maelin, w/ her costume...she's a witch. Picture # 3 is Matthew eating a snack after all his walking and the last one was taken by Matthew...he was standing on the stairs.

Well, we are still organizing a few things...especially anything that has to be hung both in & outside. So please excuse some of the mess on the floors or counter. We are currently converting our kitchen closet into a pantry. For some reason the houses were built w/ their pantries under the island. So we asked housing for two more shelves and Ken installed them himself only one of the shelves wasn't cut short enough so we have to wait to have maintenance comes by to pick up the shelf. Still we already have two up and just waiting for that third one then our pantry will be complete. Which is great because I am tired of having to get down on my hands and knees to get things under the island. Hopefully I will have some house pictures up before I leave to Laredo for Thanksgiving.

All in all we had a good turn out in trick or treaters,plenty of candies and Matthew enjoyed himself. Hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween.

22 weeks and growing

I just turned 22 weeks last Wednesday and I have really grown in just 2 weeks. I really feel her kicking a lot now and have had a shortness of breath from climbing the stair at home, but all is still going well. We just moved into our new home and we all love it. I will be posting pics soon of our new place.

Tickled Pink

After waiting for many weeks and wondering what the sex of our baby is we now know and couldn't be anymore happier to say it's a girl. I had a feeling it was a girl, but didn't want to say anything to family or friends and jinx myself. We really didn't care as long as the baby is healthy, but after six years of trains,cars,blue,camo and earth worms I am happy for a change. Matthew really wanted this baby to be a boy and made sure he even let the ultrasound technician know. As soon as the tech. said it was a girl I heard a very sad "awww" and as Matt and Ken left the room I heard Matthew tell Ken "I thought I said I wanted a boy." Now that Matt has had a few days to get use to the idea of having a little sister he has decided on a name. He wants to name her Rosie. I can't really complain because if it was a boy he wanted to name him Kong Mateo and the last girl's name he had in mind was Sarah Dizzy Franks. Sarah Franks is the name of a girl he had in his kinder class and wouldn't stop talking about her and now she is in the same class as him. Don't ask about Dizzy because I really don't know where that came from. Hope you enjoy our ultrasound picture of Baby girl Springsteen at 20 weeks and 1 day.
