This past week was Matt's Spring Break. The kids don't get a whole week more like an extra long weekend. It was Mady's 1st Easter and her 1st holiday. On Saturday we went out to the mall and tested our new baby carrier. Well, Ken wore it and Mady seemed to have liked it. She fell asleep right away. Ken's back was hurting by time we left and so now he knows how I felt at 9 months and 3 days pregnant.
We went to 9am mass on Sunday. Ken was working so I attempted to go alone w/ the kids and it wasn't bad. Luckily we saw our friends,The Martins, who saw that I was getting tired of holding Mady and took her for almost half the mass. My arms were so grateful. On our way home from church Ken called to let me know he was out early and would hide the baskets and eggs. So once we arrived back to the house Matt saw that the Easter bunny had stopped on by while we were at mass. Later that afternoon we bbq-ed and cracked cascarones.
