Healthy Choice
I am really picky about frozen food but since its usually just me for one meal (if not more) throughout the day I will pop one in from time to time. I tried this one today and I actually really liked it. I will next time use the oven over the microwave because the rice was a tad mushy (but I am picky).

Soccer boys
Ken is the head coach for Matthew's soccer team. Their team has only had two games so far. We have had really great weather all week of their game until we reach game day. First game it was freezing so Mady was able to wear her Ladybug soccer onesie but it was so cold that mid way through the game we went and sat in the car. The second game was really windy and was suppose to rain so Mady and I opted to stay home. Sadly, they lost their first game and tied for the second one. This Friday is an off week for them. Hopefully, next week week they can have their first win!

Easter weekend
I love love this time of yr in MD (next to fall of course). I love all the trees that flower at the beginning of Spring but most of all I love going to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms. We've been going to see them for the past three years now and it still amazes me how beautiful they look. We went to DC on Friday (it was crazy packed but oh well). Saturday we bummed around but that evening Ken,Matt and I went to the Easter Vigil at our church where Ken was rebaptized and confirmed as a Catholic. We dropped off Mady with some friends since mass would start around her bedtime. I am so glad she behaved for our friends The Martins. I really don't know what we would have done if we never met them. They are one of the nicest families we have met. I am so thankful for them and our friendship with them. Mass was wonderful and I love two of Matt's quotes that night. The first came from him right after church and we had just buckled our seat belts when he said to Ken "well congratulations Dad you are now a Catholic" and the second one came when we were getting close to The Martins house...we had a gift from them to Ken sitting in Mady's seat so Matt told Ken that he would hold his "Catholic gift" for him so Mady can sit back in her carseat. I honestly don't know what runs thru his head at times haha. Our Sunday was very low key. Kids found their baskets, had an Easter egg hunt and then cracked cascarones (Mexican Easter eggs). Mady has been a little under the weather so she stayed in but Matt took advantage of the warm weather and rode his bike quite a bit. All in all it was a great three day weekend. Happy Easter!

Easter Stampede
Our post had an Easter egg hunt for four different age groups but it was more like an Easter stampede. Mady found two eggs and really that's all she wanted one for each hand and Matt got 21. She hated the bunny and Ken had to take the picture w/ her. It was so crowded that I think we will skip this one next year and go to the one that another organization offers. Overall the kids enjoyed themselves so what more could I ask for?
Matthew the two wheeler
We bought Matt a bike back in mid/late Nov. but he was only able to use it for about 2 weeks w/ training wheels before it went into hibernation for the winter. Well, about 2 weeks he started riding again because we have finally had some sunny weather and he asked Ken to have him remove his training wheels. I am so happy that he has been able to teach himself to ride his bike. He started riding on his own this week and its been about 2 weeks of him just practicing on his own. He was so scared of falling and getting hurt.
