Well, Ken took a test for Staff Sgt. back in March,received his results in Aug. saying he passed,then had to take a class in Nov. and now FINALLY he had his ceremony on Tues. Feb. 23rd. It was a little difficult with Mady because she wanted to walk all over the place and she kept voicing her opinion while a Major was talking so that's when I had to excuse ourselves from the room and let her walk around in the hall way. We did get to see Daddy get his stripe and I *TRIED* to take pictures but I was only able to get two. So, a little info on the actual ceremony when you are given your new stripe its just a sticker (til you get your permanent one) and you have two people (usually someone of a higher rank) stick on your stripe but they are suppose to punch your arm (just a tradition).
